Refund policy

We want you to love what arrives. If something isn't right, here's exactly how we make it right.

Return window

You have 30 days from the delivery date to request a return. After 30 days we can no longer accept returns.

What we accept

  • Sealed, unopened jars — full refund within the 30-day window.
  • Defective products (rancid, contaminated, leaking on arrival, or the wrong product shipped) — full refund or free replacement, your choice.

What we cannot accept

  • Opened jars returned for preference reasons (texture, scent, fit with your routine). Tallow balm is a personal-use skincare product, and this is industry standard.
  • Items past the 30-day window.
  • Items marked Final Sale.
  • Gift cards.
  • Custom or personalized items.

Allergic reaction — opened jar goodwill refund

Tallow is well-tolerated by most people, but if you experience an allergic reaction within the first 7 days of use, we will issue a full refund regardless of whether the jar is opened. Email us with a brief description and we'll handle it.

Restocking fee

None. We don't charge a restocking fee.

Return shipping

  • Standard returns (sealed, changed your mind): you cover return shipping.
  • Defective or damaged items: we send a prepaid return label at no cost. Email us within 48 hours of receipt with photos of the product and packaging.

Refund timing

Once we receive and inspect the return, we issue the refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the funds.

  2. The item(s) you want to return
  3. The reason

We respond within 24–48 business hours, Monday–Friday 9am–6pm EST.
